God loves us all, created everything and wants us to know Him. There is a problem, our selfishness, our troubles, our lack of love towards God and evil that opposes God and seeks to spoil and destroy. 

So, God sent His only son Jesus to show us God’s love in action and pay for a way back to God. Jesus took the punishment of a criminal’s death on a cross by the Romans 2000 years ago. He had done no wrong but took our wrongs and troubles instead. 

After 3 days He rose from the dead, He showed himself to his followers and explained that He had defeated death and hell and that anyone who trusts in Him can have new life, everlasting life with God. 

After being with his followers for 40 days, Jesus was lifted up into heaven to return to His heavenly father, where He works for us all. 

Jesus sends His Holy Spirit to fill every person who welcomes Him into their life. In that way God is within anyone who trusts in Jesus. The Bible tells us that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. If anyone asks Jesus into their life they are accepted by God, wrongs are forgiven and they are made new.
This is a free gift of God.
